Beautifully made, beautifully framed, and even more atmospheric in person. It feels like a window into another moment.

I bought the print for my living room and it has become the first thing people comment on. Quiet, elegant and full of emotion.

The craftsmanship is exceptional. The float mount and gallery glass make the artwork feel truly premium. Worth every penny.

More About This Image

Canary Riverside captures the ever-evolving skyline of Canary Wharf at sunset, where the city’s modern glass towers rise above the historic riverside. Created using multiple exposures, this piece layers time and motion, blending the sharp geometry of London’s financial district with the soft, painterly hues of the evening sky. The result is an image that feels both ethereal and grounded—a balance between the past and the relentless momentum of progress.

As I stood by the Thames, watching the city lights flicker to life, I was struck by the way the skyline mirrored itself in the shifting reflections of the river. The contrast between the warm glow of the sunset and the cool blues of the high-rise towers gave the scene a surreal atmosphere, as if the city itself was dissolving into the horizon. I wanted to capture that fleeting transition—the moment where London shifts from day to night, from movement to stillness.

In this piece, the layering of exposures enhances the sense of depth, with the cityscape appearing to float between reality and reflection. The Shard and other landmarks emerge like ghosts in the mist, their forms softened by the luminous sky. The Thames, typically a restless force, becomes a serene expanse of white, grounding the composition while adding to its dreamlike quality.

Canary Riverside invites viewers to reflect on the transformation of London, how the cityscape is constantly shifting, evolving, yet always recognisable. It is a meditation on movement, progress, and the delicate interplay between light and architecture, nature and urban sprawl. This image is a reminder that even in a city known for its speed, there are moments of stillness, where past and future blend into something altogether timeless.
