The Other Art Fair
Artist Statement
In March 2025 I exhibited at The Other Art Fair London, a space that thrives on originality, diversity, and direct connection between artist and audience. For my stand I curated two distinct yet complementary themes. The main wall was dedicated to sunsets, capturing moments of light and colour that signal both an ending and a beginning. Each piece in this series was chosen for its ability to hold stillness and movement at once, inviting viewers to pause and consider the shifting beauty of the horizon.
On the side walls I presented my Not People collection, an ongoing exploration of human presence without focusing on the individual. These works speak to the collective energy of urban life, the movement of crowds, and the impressions left behind. By placing this series alongside the sunset works, I wanted to create a dialogue between natural and human rhythms, between the infinite cycles of the sky and the fleeting moments of our daily lives.
The fair’s open, welcoming environment allowed me to engage directly with visitors, to share the stories and processes behind my work, and to hear their interpretations in return. Being surrounded by fellow independent artists, each bringing their own vision, reinforced my belief that art is most alive when it is accessible and experienced in person. Exhibiting at The Other Art Fair was not only an opportunity to present my work but also a reminder of why I create, to connect, to provoke thought, and to offer moments of quiet beauty in a fast-moving world.
