Shad Thames Symphony

Artist’s note

Walking through Shad Thames, I could hear footsteps echoing between the brick warehouses beneath the overhead walkways. The scene suggested a kind of music to me: the buildings holding their places while people and light moved through them. I used multiple exposures to bring those movements together.
