Artist’s note

A young woman on her phone caught my attention in Carnaby Street. She seemed absorbed in the conversation while the street carried on around her. Perhaps she was calling her mother: 'Hello, Mum, I'm in Carnaby Street.' Bright light and slight overexposure separate her figure from the surrounding crowd.
