Artist’s note
Groups of friends and couples were sharing drinks beside the Thames. I felt separate from the people I was photographing, with my camera for company. Multiple exposures layered their figures with the reflections on the river. The muted evening light stayed close to my own mood as I watched from the edge of the gathering.
